“We believe that when we come together, we can create simple solutions to social and public issues that can have a local and global impact.”

Dr. Stephanie Thomas

Zoë-Life is a team of development specialists, dedicated to creating innovative solutions for public and social health challenges.

Who We Are

At Zoë-Life, we focus on transforming the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and their communities, collaboratively addressing challenges that are important to them.

Founded in 2012 with our base in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, we have grown from a response to the HIV/AIDS crisis into innovating tools, resources, and programmes that address health and social issues such as HIV, TB, and chronic illnesses, trauma and gender-based violence, social cohesion, and more, reaching beyond South Africa to Mozambique, Nigeria, and the UK.

Our strength lies in creativity and collaboration.

We collaborate with communities and organisations to develop and pilot initiatives, ensuring they are grounded in local insights and expertise. Then, by upskilling and mentoring our partners, we can scale immediate health and social needs and build resilient support networks for sustainable community health.

Join us in our journey to innovate in a world where small solutions lead to big impacts.

Not just an organisation; we are a passionate team of catalysts, sparking change dedicated to building resilient futures where every child, youth, and community can achieve their potential.

Our Vision

We want to see Healthy, Safe, Well-Equipped Children and Youth become Responsible Individuals who contribute positively to their families, their communities and a sustainable economy and environment.

Our Mission

We equip children, youth and all their custodians to build ecosystems that nurture Healthy, Safe, Well-Equipped individuals.
